This past February, I was honored to be included in two nights of fly tying with Trout Unlimited. It was beautiful to not only document evenings focused on learning a new skill but also to see people of all ages connect, share knowledge, and build community. Anytime I’m invited to document for Trout Unlimited, my younger self feels proud. Throughout high school, fly fishing was my favorite hobby, and while the trees of Michigan have limited the time I spend behind a reel, it remains a meaningful way to give back and stay involved.
